Terms and Conditions

These terms outline the rules for using Skin.Trade, including Steam trades, account responsibility, balances, payouts, prohibited activity, and service limitations.

Eligibility and account responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring that You are legally allowed to use Skin.Trade in Your jurisdiction.
  • You must use Your own Steam account and keep Your Steam credentials, Steam Guard, trade URL, email, and API key secure.
  • Skin.Trade may request additional information, pause activity, or restrict access when account ownership, transaction authorization, or security risk needs to be verified.

Steam trades and item transfers

  • All CS2 skin transfers depend on Steam systems, Steam trade rules, inventory availability, trade holds, and user account restrictions.
  • Once items have been successfully transferred through Steam, the transaction cannot normally be reversed by You through Skin.Trade.
  • You are responsible for checking trade offer details before accepting a Steam trade. Skin.Trade is not responsible for losses caused by compromised accounts, stolen API keys, spoofed trades, or user-side security failures.
  • If a Steam-side reversal, trade lock, account restriction, or fraud signal affects a transaction, Skin.Trade may delay, cancel, reverse, or manually review the related order or payout.

Prices, balances and currency conversion

  • Skin prices, account balances, bonuses, fees, limits, and payouts may be calculated in USD and displayed in other currencies using available exchange rates.
  • Displayed converted values are provided for convenience and may change as exchange rates, market prices, liquidity, or payment method conditions change.
  • Site balance is an internal account balance that may be used for eligible purchases or withdrawal requests according to platform rules.
  • Deposits or balance credits may be subject to security holds before they can be withdrawn, even if they can be used for eligible on-site purchases.

Payouts, withdrawals and fees

  • Available payout methods, minimum limits, processing times, and fees may vary by currency, network, region, risk checks, and provider availability.
  • Crypto withdrawals are sent to the address You provide. You are responsible for selecting the correct network and entering the correct address.
  • If a payment provider, crypto network, gateway, or manual review causes a delay, Skin.Trade will process the request as soon as reasonably possible.
  • If a selected payout method is unavailable, support may offer another eligible payout method or return funds to Your Skin.Trade balance where appropriate.

Refunds, cancellations and errors

  • Completed Steam transfers and completed external payouts are generally final unless Skin.Trade determines that a correction is required.
  • If You enter incorrect payout details and funds are sent to that destination, Skin.Trade may be unable to recover the funds.
  • Failed or canceled payments may be retried, corrected with support, returned to internal balance, or canceled depending on the situation.
  • Orders may be canceled if items become unavailable, Steam rejects a trade, payment fails, fraud checks fail, or platform risk controls require cancellation.

Prohibited activity

  • You may not use Skin.Trade for fraud, money laundering, stolen items, stolen accounts, unauthorized access, API key abuse, chargeback abuse, market manipulation, or attempts to bypass platform limits.
  • You may not interfere with platform security, automated systems, payment systems, other users, or Steam-related trade flows.
  • Skin.Trade may suspend accounts, hold balances, cancel transactions, request verification, or refuse service when prohibited activity or abnormal risk is suspected.

Service availability and limitation of liability

  • Skin.Trade depends on third-party services including Steam, payment providers, crypto networks, hosting providers, and market data sources. These services may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate.
  • The Service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact market pricing, instant settlement, or error-free third-party integrations.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skin.Trade is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, market changes, Steam restrictions, provider outages, user-side security failures, or incorrect payment details entered by You.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means You accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of responsibility

  • Skin.Trade is not responsible for losses caused by Your Steam account security, compromised devices, leaked credentials, stolen API keys, incorrect trade confirmations, phishing, malware, or unauthorized access outside our direct control.
  • Skin.Trade is not responsible for delays, reversals, restrictions, outages, price changes, network fees, blockchain congestion, provider failures, or Steam actions caused by third-party systems.
  • Skin.Trade is not responsible for funds, items, or payouts sent to incorrect accounts, wallets, networks, or payment details entered or confirmed by You.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, but all responsibility is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
