Frequently Asked Questions
No — they are separate. Giveaway credits (tickets) can only be used to enter giveaways on Skin.Trade. They cannot be withdrawn as cash. The 1% seller bonus goes directly to your withdrawable balance.
Attribution only works if your friend opens your invite URL before signing in with Steam for the first time. If they signed in without first clicking your link, the cookie is not set and the invite cannot be retroactively linked.
The 1% bonus is credited when your invited friend's sell trade is confirmed by Steam. The credit appears in your balance and is reflected in your Affiliates activity ledger.
Your friend should go to Account → Profile & Preferences and save your Referral ID there. Once saved, all future sells they complete will trigger the 1% bonus for you.
Existing invite links using your old code will stop working. Friends who already signed up via your old link will retain their attribution for giveaway credits, but any new clicks need the updated URL. Update any shared links after changing your code.
No. Self-referrals are not permitted. Only genuine invites — friends signing in through your link for the first time — count toward credits and bonuses.
